Visited for Sunday brunch. Place was busy but not too packed. Nice comfortable booth for our party of 5. Everything was very clean and staff was very friendly.
Menu had great selection for all age ranges. All the kids really loved the blackberry lemonade.

Fork & Fire has always been one of our favorite casual restaurants. They have an amazing cocktail program and the kitchen sink wings are some of the best in CT. Nearly everything on the menu is made in house or locally sourced. From the house made pierogis to small state provisions buns.
The espresso martinis use fresh espresso and I really enjoyed the eggnog espresso martini which was not too sweet. The kitchen sink wings are a blend of sweet chili and buffalo for the perfect sweet/spicy combo. I love that the Caesar salad has a soft boiled egg on top.

Food here is amazing! You can really get the appetizers and be satisfied. It’s a great place to lounge with friends and the bar is nice too! The atmosphere is beautiful as well.

I had brunch with my husband here this past Sunday. The first thing we noticed was how warm & welcoming the environment was. We were seated immediately. Our server was attentive and very kind. We had a $5 espresso martini & it was incredible. We both ordered the steak & eggs. It was legitimately the best brunch we’ve ever had. I look forward to trying their dinner!

(Last visited June 7, 2023.) I've heard some great things about Fork & Fire here in Farmington so we headed here on a Wednesday when they have 1/2 off bottles of wine AND 1/2 off wings! What kind of magical day is this?! So we pulled up to check out some of their offerings!
Atmosphere/Appearance: Set tucked into a plaza right off of Farmington Avenue is this chill, laid-back tavern of a restaurant. Once in the door you're greeted with a series of warm colors. There's a bright red wall, a deep red brick wall, dark wooden floors, intimate yellow lights that hang from the ceiling, the trendy black ceiling tiles and a BIG bar. It wasn't super loud, but it wasn't quiet in here either. You can easily have a conversation with whoever you're with right at your table.
Service: I can't remember who took care of us, but I feel like it was the manager? Maybe the owner? She was really sweet though and took excellent care of us. We had no issues at all.
Food: I already told you why I'm here, but we had a surprise on the menu, pulled pork sliders! These aren't always available, since they were a special, but maybe they could be around when you go! They also only offer 4 flavors of wings so that means they've perfected these and don't have to stretch themselves too far to make so many flavors! They are also par-baked to speed up the ordering process when they come out to you so they're flash fried and made to order.
Pulled Pork Sliders: This is smoked barbecue pulled pork with fried onions, white cheddar cheese on a sweet Hawaiian roll. This was AMAZING. I did not expect what I tasted. The cheese was super gooey, the flavors were off the chain and powerful. The barbecue sauce wasn't super sweet and complemented the meaty, saltiness of the cheese with the pork.
Sriracha Honey Wings: On first sight these looked beautiful. The sesame seeds gave a good accent color to the deep red color of the sauce. They were also super sticky and gooey. That also means they hold temperature heat

Delicious food, perfectly sized portions, extremely friendly staff, and a really warm atmosphere going on with the decor. Brought my parents who are usually VERY critical of food, and they absolutely loved it. Definitely will be coming back in the future.
The manager went out of her way to apologize to us about an order that was mistaken.

Everything we ordered was amazing. Highly recommend the small plates esp the roasted carrots (sooo good, with goat cheese and this amazing glaze), tuna tartare and the Korean bbq. Some of the best mocktails I’ve had. Upscale but comfortable, nice atmosphere and they played great music. Shout out to our waiter Paul D who was super kind, helpful, professional, informative. Will definitely be coming back when we’re in the area.

Wasn’t expecting it to be this good but the website looked decent so we gave it a try. Had a reservation on Saturday for 8:30 and it was the only one available that day. Definitely will need one if you go on the weekend.
Wings were great! Crispy but still juicy. We got the honey sriracha. We started with an Old Fashioned Flight for drinks and you definitely should use caution with this if you’re driving lol.
For meals we had the Pork Chop and the Half Chicken. Both were definitely good options with a perfect crisp and the sides were good as well.
We ended with an Apple Cake for dessert which was also good and I never been big on dessert tbh.
I highly recommend checking this place out if you’re looking for something different in the Farmington area.
